Strasbourg made a disappointing start to their Ligue 1 campaign, losing 3-1 to newly promoted Lorient. It was an away game and it was always going to be tough, but it's still a tough start for the team, who have now put a lot of pressure on to try to win the first home game of the season.

Strasbourg are in 19th place, which at the moment means nothing, but if they lose this game they could soon be bogged down.

Nice were superb, beating Lens 2-1 in the opening weekend of the season. One player really stood out for the club and it was Amine Gouiri who really got us excited. They bought him from Lyon in July and he scored both of Nice's winning goals, they were brilliant and welcomed and the striker is only 20 so we'll be keeping an eye on him for the next few games.

Nice have a chance to take 6 points off their opponents and it's still August, so this is an important game for both sides.

This will be an interesting game. It's very easy to look at Strasbourg's game against Lorient and think they might give up here. Will they have a good season at home and will they have problems away from home?

Nice were slow against Lens but Gouiri's 2 goals gave him the confidence to win. Nice does not travel well to Strasbourg and has not won here for 12 years.

However, we are tempted to bet on Nice on the handicap and start with a 1-goal lead. It's also worth supporting Gouiri to score another goal, he just looks very confident and is a very good price to score again.
