Liverpool host West Ham for Saturday's Premier League clash, hoping to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to 4 games.

However, we expect the Hammers to give themselves a tough test, considering they are also in the music with a four-game unbeaten run in the league.

David Moyes' side also look good up front, scoring 11 goals in 4 games after early defeats to Newcastle and Arsenal. They were literally unlucky not to win at the Olympic Stadium last week against mighty Man City and had the best chances of finishing the game before Phil Foden's equalizer on the hour mark.

West Ham are ranked 12th in the table after having 2 wins and 2 draws in their last four games.

On the other hand, Liverpool managed a 2-1 victory over Sheffield United last weekend, but as the scoreboard indicates, it was far from convincing. They had better odds and more, but I have to mention that they looked shaky in the back.

And a similar pattern returned in the midweek Champions League 2-0 thrashing of Midtjylland. However, it helped the team to a third consecutive win in the entire competition after a 2-7 defeat at Aston Villa and a 2-2 draw in the Merseyside derby.

Jurgen Klopp's charges are the best in the table with 13 points for arch-rivals Everton, but also the worst defense in the league after conceding a total of 14 goals.

The Reds are undefeated in their last 8 h2h games with West Ham and have won 8 and drawn 2.

However, a Hammers low gave Klopp a big scare when he visited this stadium in February this year, only to save with goals from Mane and Salah to come back to win 3-2.

West Ham's last win over Liverpool was in the 2015/16 season and they doubled up by winning 3-0 at Anfield and 2-0 at their former home, the Boleyn Ground.

Yet another day Liverpool will go into Anfield as firm favourites, justified by the odds. But today's scenario is different and they are clouded by injuries to the defensive unit.

Van Dijk is already on the nursing table and now Fabinho joins him and now Matip is out of shape.

So West Ham, who have been brilliant over the past 4 weeks, have a chance to push something out of this match or at least a respectable full-time result.

So btts are my first choice as Liverpool have conceded 10 goals in their last 5 PL games and West Ham have come to Anfield having scored in 6 games in a row.

Considering the injuries to Liverpool's key defenders and West Ham's defensive style of play, a visitors handicap will be a decent alternative. And for the same reason, my recommendation is to go with the +1.5 Asian handicap, +2 on the Hammers.

Note that with +1,5, +2 we are splitting our bet into two West Ham goal advantage bets, say 0:+1,5 goals and 0:+2 goals.
