Cardiff had a rather disappointing run towards the end of October, but finally ended their winning streak by beating Barnsley (3-0) on Tuesday, looking to continue to improve their performance by hosting Bristol City in just a few days. They've been scoring goals regularly but have struggled for those displays in defense which will make Neil Harris happier.

The Bluebirds had scored at least one goal on five occasions before, but had also conceded on four of those, which saw them gain six points along the way. They showed their character at the Cardiff City Stadium and will be looking to base their climb up the table on points here, which will make Friday's clash even more important.

However, Bristol also ended their own winless streak on Tuesday. They beat Huddersfield (1-2) with late goals from Dasilva and Paterson, coming back after seeing three defeats and two draws in the previous five games. They've struggled to stay together at the rear and have seen some very close encounters along the way, promising a big challenge in Cardiff, but we think this might let them down yet again.
